 Priyanka Chopra who is a known face in West today should thank the day she signed Quantico . The actress’s television series was well acclaimed and so was her character of Alex Parish. However, did you know, PeeCee had almost rejected this role?
Who could have rejected such a brilliant offer and why? Well, only Priyanka can answer that. The time Quantico was offered to the actress, PeeCee was wondering if she should sign this project considering it will consume a lot of time. Speaking on this offer to a popular website in West Priyanka said, “I said no, because it’s a really long commitment.” Ms Chopra had so much going on in Bollywood that she had to literally think about giving this offer a miss. A show in the West obviously meant that she would have to relocate to another country due to which Bollywood projects might suffer.

But then Priyanka heard the complete narration and was impressed with the character of Alex Parrish which was offered to her. It was the role she was aiming for as her Hollywood debut. However the role was initially written for an American girl whereas Priyanka is an Indian.
We thank her for not rejecting such a great offer, an offer that could kill anyone. The real reason behind Priyanka being an international icon today is her television series and the same reason gave her Baywatch in which she plays the antagonist. PeeCee who has earlier enacted such roles in Bollywood, will try her hand for the first time in Hollywood and that has left us excited. She nailed the character of Alex Parish but will she repeat the history with Victoria Leeds? She played a protagonist in Quantico, will the audience accept her as a villain in Baywatch?
