Priyanka Chopra becomes the highest paid Indian actress in the World, beats Deepika Padukone hands down – read the details

Priyanka Chopra earned $11 million and Deepika Padukone earnings are revealed to be $10 million

 

 

 

Priyanka Chopra has become the first Indian star to enter the Forbes list of highest paid television actresses in the world, after starring on American TV crime drama Quantico. She has debuted on the eighth spot on World’s highest paid TV actresses in the Forbes list with $11 million earnings. She defeats Deepika Padukone whose earnings are revealed to be $10 million. PC’s earnings are from her TV series, her pay check from Baywatch and Deepika’s from her Bollywood movies as well as xXx: Return of Xander Cage. Also, Deepika may be the top actress in Bollywood but Internationally it’s Priyanka Chopra who is slaying it and as far as just the earnings are concerned, Priyanka Chopra has managed to beat Deepika Padukone by a million and has become the World’s highest paid Indian actress.
Things are going to get more interesting once their respective big Hollywood outings release next year. Deepika is making her big debut with Fast and Furious veteran Vin Diesel in xXx: Return Of Xander Cage and Priyanka Chopra will be playing the main antagonist opposite global star Dwayne Johnson in Baywatch. Time will tell if Priyanka will remain a step ahead of her Bajirao Mastani co-star or will Deepika be able to beat PC in the highest paid list.
The list, however, is headed by Sofia Vergara of Modern Family with $43 million, The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco ranks second with $24.5 million and Mindy Kaling rounds up the top three with $15 million for The Mindy Project.
Priyanka Chopra is on the verge of global domination with her stint as a presenter at the Oscars, a first for any Bollywood star, also as a presenter at Emmy Awards, to her win at the People’s choice awards.  Also appeared on several talk shows from Jimmy Falon to Good Morning America. She’s the only Indian actress to appear on the cover of fourteen noteworthy International magazines.She is currently shooting for the second season of Quantico, where she’ll be seen as FBI agent turned CIA agent. The series will starts its second season by September 25. She was also one of the Time 100 List of most influential people. 
On the Bollywood front, she was last seen in Jai Gangaajal  and there were reports of her quitting Bollywood to pursue her Hollywood career but she squashed all rumors and reportedly would be announcing her next Bollywood project by the end of this year. Not just that she’ll also be announcing her next big Hollywood project. Meanwhile, she has produced one Bhojpuri film and a Marathi film.
