Oh for those who are still dizzy with Priyanka Chopra‘s red carpet appearance at the Golden Globes 2017, let us remind you that even Deepika Padukone is a part of the awards
night! DP hasn’t attended the awards night but she will be going for
the after party event. Her stylist Shaleena Nathani shared a sneak peek
of what we’re about to expect from Padukone at the after party and while
we’re super excited, we get a feeling that it’s gonna be a twinning
scene. So far all we know is how she will be looking i.e. in terms of
her hair and makeup. A glimpse of her outfit is also visible in the pic
shared by her stylist. However, as we see the pic, the only person that
comes in our head instantly is none other than Golden Globe winner Viola
Davis.
You heard that right. The Fences actress who just won an award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the August Wilson drama wore a Michael Kors gown. The yellow hued one shoulder gown sparked elegance and panache. While Davis may have been a winner at the Golden Globes but she definitely was a winner at the red carpet as well. Just look at how classy her simple gown looked. There was not much fuss and it was very appealing to the eyes as well. Looks like that is the exact kinda look DP also had in mind. You see from the sneak peek that we just got, it seems quite possible that perhaps even the xXx: Return of Xander Cage actress. Although the designers they’ve chosen are different and perhaps even the fabric is poles apart but the pattern seems similar.
Well, if DP and Viola’s outfits do twin at the after party, then it’ll be similar to Priyanka Chopra and Sofia Vergara’s twinning rendezvous. Just sometime ago we put up a post stating how both the hot divas chose to wear a similar glittery ensemble but rocked it in their own stylish ways. In fact, they even posed together, held hands and had a nice chat and did a Boomerang video of their twinning scenes. Clearly, celebs have grown out of the ‘twinning is a blunder’ kinda mentality and are openly accepting that they wore similar outfits and not making a big deal out of it.
