“Chal na Katrina,” says Priyanka Chopra to a cross-dressed Zac Efron and we are tempted to watch the Hindi version of Baywatch

The latest trailer of Baywatch is out and it is hilarious. But you know what is more hilarious? The Hindi dubbed trailer of Baywatch. The Seth Gordon directed comedy is going to be released in Hindi, along with many other languages. And in all honesty, it seems funnier in Hindi. Let’s admit that this phenomenon is extremely rare. Often, the charm of a Hollywood movie is lost in translation when dubbed in Hindi. Seriously, don’t ever watch the Hindi version of Christopher Nolan’s Inception; you’d die laughing at the dialogues in a serious movie. But Baywatch seems to have got the dubbing right.
Priyanka Chopra has dubbed for herself for the Hindi version, for obvious reasons. But a round of applause for whoever wrote the Hindi script. Because the person has managed to channel the comic timing of the film perfectly in this version. At one point an irritated Priyanka tells a cross dressed Zac Efron “Chal na Katrina!” Hilarious! Right? The dialogue originally was “‘Easy Britney”. We can only imagine the number of times Priyanka must have chuckled while mouthing this one, before she got it right.
Our sources tell us that Priyanka had even called up Katrina Kaif and told her about this funny dialogue. It goes without saying that Kat must have had no problems with it. For all you know, the actress might have had a laugh or two over it.

Another funny dialogue comes where Zac is convincing Dwayne that they should not spy on Priyanka.
