Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya and Ashwin Ramkumar to file for divorce?

Latest reports suggest, Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya and her husband Ashwin Ramkumar are soon filing for divorce.

 

 

 2016 seems to be the year of splits and heart breaks. After Amala Paul-AL Vijay’s split, here comes news of another shocking split, Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya and Ashwin Ramkumar. According to reports in a leading daily, legal sources stated that Soundarya has filed for divorce at the family court. Reportedly, the couple’s relationship had been in troubled waters  few years ago itself. And now, they have decided to go their separate ways..Soundarya got married to Ashwin, an industrialist in Chennai in 2010. They knew each other for four years before getting married. Also, they have a son Ved, who recently turned one.
Reportedly, after Rajinikanth was back after his break in the US, he had visited his daughter and had tried to ask her to come to a compromise. But seems like, she had made her decision and had decided to go ahead with the divorce. Reportedly, when Ashwin was asked of this issue, he chose not to comment. For all those who don’t know, it was Soundarya who bought Pa Ranjith and Rajinikanth together for Kabali. She stared off a graphic designer and then went on to direct Kochadaiiyaan starring Rajinikanth. While the animation received mixed reviews, it was praised for its compelling story. And now, she is ready with the script for next film. It’s supposed to be a contemporary rom-com film. The cast and crew for the film are yet to be finalised.

It was only two months ago, Amala Paul- AL Vijay were in the news for their divorce. After dating for three years, they got married in a grand ceremony in June 2014. Two years later, they have gone their separate ways. There were a lot of speculations of there being a lifestyle difference, some were saying it was because Vijay’s parents disapproved of Amala continuing to work even after marriage. And then later, when AL Vijay released a press statement, there were implications of infidelity. Nobody knows the real reason. Other than Amala-Vijay, south actor Bala and singer Amruta Suresh called it quits recently after six years. They had met on the sets of a reality show soon after which they got married in 2010. Then there was singer-dancer Divya Unni who recently divorced her husband after 14 years. There were reports, that the husband wanted her to shut down her dance school but she refused to do so. Bollywood hasn’t had lack of splits either, with Ranbir-Katrina going separate ways, Sushant-Ankita as well.
