A Flying Jatt day 3 box office collection: Tiger Shroff’s film sees a jump, earns Rs. 20. 45 crore in three days!

Saturday was a bit better than Friday…

The makers of A Flying Jatt might have thought releasing the film a day prior will give it an extra edge. So the film released on Thursday, i.e. August 25 which was Janmashtami. Not a holiday for all, but then it’s a holiday, guess that was enough for the producers. But despite their best intentions, the film is going slow at the box office. After over 7 crore first day and a 6 crore second, the film had a slightly better Saturday. The toll now rests at 20. 45 cr.
Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh shared the new figures saying, “#AFlyingJatt Thu 7.10 cr, Fri 6 cr, Sat 7.35 cr. Total: ₹ 20.45 cr. India biz.” You can see Saturday saw a jump in collections with 7. 35 cr and if that continues, it will post a decent opening weekend total. It was expected to get good numbers on Saturday and there are high hopes of it seeing another jump today as it is Sunday. But then it has to be seen whether audience prefer it over other movies or not.

Our Trade expert, Amul Mohan (Editor, Supercinema) predicted much better numbers for the film than this. He had predicted, “We are looking at 9 cr on Thursday since Janmashtami is not a big festival and 9 cr again on Friday. Saturday we are expecting some jump say 10 cr and another 11-12 crore on Sunday. So 40 crore is what I am looking at the end of the first weekend.” Clearly, nothing of the sort happened. And guess his word of caution while predicting these numbers turned out to be true.  The movie needs to be good too. If it isn’t up to the mark and gets bad reviews and bad word of mouth, that affects the movie a lot. These numbers are in a good scenario where everything is working,” Mohan had asserted. Guess that’s what has happened to the film.
We already revealed to you that it is one Tiger Shroff film which is expensive than his previous ones. It was Mohan who disclosed this important trivia about the film. He revealed, “I am hearing the budget of the film is 40+ cr. It’s an expensive film. Heropanti was in the range of around 25- 30 crore while Baaghi was slightly higher. This obviously has the action and VFX, the cost is higher here. It is the most expensive Tiger Shroff movie as of now.” The film still has the time to recover that kind of cost because these aren’t terrible numbers but yes it isn’t what we expected from this film.
