Sanjay Dutt to start working on Dhamaal 3 soon, confirms Inder Kumar

Meanwhile moving on from Great Grand Masti, filmmaker Inder Kumar has begun work on his next, Dhamaal 3, which could see Sanjay Dutt’s return to the franchise.

 

 

 

He’s working out dates for third installment of the franchise

Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film remains uncertain yet. While the actor has said on numerous occasions that he is raring to get back to work, somehow that has not happened even six months after his release from jail. Meanwhile moving on from Great Grand Masti, filmmaker Inder Kumar has begun work on his next, Dhamaal 3, which could see Sanjay Dutt’s return to the franchise.
He confirms the development, “The film will be called Total Dhamaal.” When asked if it will retain the main cast, Kumar says it will, “Discussions with Sanjay are on. We go on floors sometime next year.”
While Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi also confirmed that Inder has shared the idea with them, a source tells us that Sanjay has given his nod. Our khabri reveals, “Sanjay is very happy with the script. He is working out his dates accordingly.”
Meanwhile, there is a biopic being made on Sanjay Dutt‘s life, and it is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Ranbir Kapoor, who will play Sanju baba in the film, has this to say about his role, “I have due responsibility of portraying him onscreen the best way possible and most importantly in an engaging way coz that life is bloody interesting. It’s not a propaganda film; it’s not trying to paint him grey, white or black. It’s an engaging film; it’s a story which was waiting to be told. The actor further added that Sanjay Dutt was so giving and graceful to make this film. He even added that there was a time when Raju Hirani asked Dutt not to show certain portion of his life, but he was like no, all this needs to be told.”
