Why is Dipika Kakar quitting Sasural Simar Ka?

Dipika Kakar finally opens up about her exit from Sasural Simar Ka.

It came as a shock to us when Dipika Kakar decided to quit Sasural Simar Ka. The actress has been associated with the show for a long time now and has been a part of a mind-blowing ride in show. If not a makkhi, she visited the heaven and hell in this show. There were rumours about the actress quitting the show after unsolvable differences with the makers but the actress comes clean on why she is leaving the show. Dipika told a leading entertainment portal,” Yes, I am leaving the show, I wouldn’t deny the fact. There has come a time where I need time for myself. I am really tired and it has been a really long time and we also have had good dramatic scenes. I am just taking time for myself.”
When asked if she was leaving the show after tiffs with the makers, she says,” No there is no bad blood or any controversial reason behind me quitting the show.” As an actor I have evolved with this show. I started this show when I was new and its a part of me which will never fade out. But Yes, I will miss Jyotsna Chandola the most. We have shared the (make-up) room and have often quipped about the typical girlfriends and have had the funniest of conversations. I will definitely miss her.”
The actress is madly in love with actor beau Shoaib Ibrahim but cleared that she is not quitting the show to get married. She says,” Oh No No! Marriage will happen soon, but that is not at all the reason for me to quit the show”. Dipika will probably take a break and detox before she looks for something more interesting coming her way on television. We had a lot of celebrities quitting TV shows after an ugly spat with the makers in 2016 and Dipika becomes the first celebrity to walk out of a TV show. Well, we wish her lots of luck for her future endeavours and hope we hear wedding bells for her this year!
