Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput‘s adorable chemistry and candid revelations on Koffee with Karan stunned everyone. The couple were so comfortable with each other that we started to admire them even more. However no one ever imagined that a 34 year old actor (age when they got married) like Shahid would marry a 21 year old lady like Mira. In fact, the couple also thought about their big age difference while they were still seeing each other. But they fell in love, got married and are currently very happy together. A few people, on the other hand, aren’t very impressed. They have constantly been trolling Shahid on social media about the age gap. The actor has been quiet till now, however he has finally hit back…
Talking about the trolls, Shahid Kapoor told Mid-day, “A mainstream star having an arranged marriage is unique. It is not every day that a Hindi film hero goes and marries someone no one even knows of. I am an actor. Most parts of my life are up for discussion, by default. It won’t stop whether I like it or not. If people cross the line, we do get displeased. But the line itself is wide. We can’t be touchy and say, bhai mere baare mein koi baat nahi karega. Mira seems pretty chilled out about what’s written. My wife decides what she wants to do, where she wants to go, how she wants to go and who is allowed in the house. It is natural. In fact, that’s how it should be.”

We have to point out that the way Shahid responded is commendable to say the least. This answer tells a lot about his chilled out personality. On the professional front, Shahid is awaiting the release of his next – Rangoon. He has also completed the first schedule of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati and will shoot for the remaining portion in the coming few months!
