Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel come out in support of the BSF soldier
Border Security Force constable Tej Bahadur Yadav‘s video, where he demonstrates the bad quality of food and talks about the difficulties he faces at the border, has been going viral since a long time. The soldier, who claims to be from the 29th battalion of the BSF in Jammu and Kashmir, has been garnering a lot of attention lately for highlighting the grim reality of armed forces. While some dissed it calling it a publicity stunt, some went on a government-bashing spree. Many celebrities like Varun Dhawan, Riteish Deshmukh, Randeep Hooda, Swara Bhaskar, Harbhajan Singh, Virendra Sehwag and Nana Patekar came forward in support of him and the latest to join are Yeh Hai Mohabbatein leads Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel.
While Divyanka took a politer stand and urged the government to ensure better facilities to our soldiers, her co-star Karan bashed the Modi government and questioned their promises of ‘acche din.’ Here’s is what they posted –
In case you were interested to know, Home Minister Rajnath Singh ordered an inquiry into the soldier’s three videos a few days ago. The whistle blower has reportedly been shifted from the Line of Control to the headquarters of his 29 battalion in Poonch for the time being.
