Deepika Padukone visits Siddhivinayak temple to pray for the success of xXx – view HQ pics

It’s obviously a very big moment for Deepika Padukone as her first ever Hollywood film xXx: Return Of Xander Cage finally hits the screens in India today. However, while the audience flocks into the theaters to watch DP’s power-packed action opposite Hollywood sensation Vin Diesel in the film. The actress was spotted visiting the Siddhivinayak temple to offer prayers for the success of xXx. Yes, we just came across these pictures of DP paying a quick visit to the Ganesha temple before leaving the city for Hollywood promotions of xXx last evening. For all the ignorant, DP has been following this tradition ever since she’s made her debut in Bollywood. You see everyone has a certain spiritual faith that they believe is their lucky charm – so for Deepika, it’s probably the Siddhivinayak temple that gives her all the confidence to win over the audience.

It’s aww-inspiring how Deepika hasn’t forgotten where her roots belong to even after heading to Hollywood. Instead, Deepika has time and again only assured she’s gone there to make India proud. No wonder she didn’t even opt for faking an American accent in xXx: Return Of Xander Cage. Or say for that matter watch any of her recent interviews and you will notice how Deepika is so full of Indian culture that even when Vin Diesel came to Mumbai for the xXx promotions, she made sure he’s given a royally traditional treatment.
