MAJOR IDENTITY CRISIS...

Okay, we understand Deepika Padukone is yet to become a known face in Hollywood considering her debut film xXx: Return Of Xander Cage opposite Vin Diesel is only releasing on January 20. But does that mean people can’t even differentiate between DP and Priyanka Chopra now? At least that’s what this latest goof up suggests. A Hollywood Youtube channel happened to misidentify Deepika as Priyanka when the actress landed at LAX airport yesterday. They even titled their video stating, “Priyanka Chopra Says She Hasn’t Thought About New Year’s Resolution Arriving At LAX.” 
However, as soon as people realised that’s not PC, the channel corrected it to Deepika Padukone but yet forgot to make the full changes in the description of the video.  Even now the description of this video featuring Deepika reads as: Deepika Padukone looks lovely in a navy coat, skinny blue jeans and wearing tan high heels as she arrives in Los Angeles after celebrating part of the holidays in India. Chopra laughs, commenting “I haven’t thought about it,” when asked what her New Year’s resolution is.”
The comments on this video too will make you question Deepika’s popularity in Hollywood. One of them have actually commented, “That’s not Priyanka .. She is not even famous I Can’t recognize her ?” Here, check out all the screenshots below and you will know what we are trying to say.


Reminds us of the time when Daily Mail had failed to recognise Deepika Padukone when she’d met Novak Djokovic. Remember how they had casually referred to Deepika as ‘ a female companion’. It’s only after Deepika’s India fans slammed Daily Mail for reporting so irresponsibly is when we got to read a rectified article with ‘Bollywood star’ being added ahead of mentioning Deepika.
Dunno how many times is Deepika gonna suffer identity crisis in Hollywood. But we’re sure once xXx hits the screens, DP is going to become a huge name across the globe and there’ll be no looking back. Amirite?
