Post Simran release, Kangana Ranaut gets to have some happy quality time with her family – view HQ pics

After a heap of controversies, Kangana Ranaut‘s
second movie of the year, Simran, had released last week. Though the
movie got middling reviews, Kangana Ranaut had got universal praise for
her performance in this slice-of-life drama that was directed by Hansal
Mehta. Based on a real-life incident, Kangana Ranaut plays a Gujarati
divorcee in USA who has to resort to stealing from banks and shops to
fund her carefree existence. Though she attracted quite a lot of
criticisms for her recent explosive interview where she again took on
Hrithik Roshan which many felt was just a publicity stunt for her movie,
Kangana looks quite happy with the response she got from Simran, going
by her latest pictures.

They even flashed victory signs towards the shutterbugs, which we are assuming as their reaction for the movie’s reception. Here are their pics…
Simran and Lucknow Central were the two major Bollywood releases last Friday. While Simran got a better start than Farhan Akhtar’s jail drama when it comes to box office as well as the reviews, the movie’s business has become a bit dull after the weekend, when the reviews gena to pour in. With a budget of over Rs 30 crores, Simran has just managed to gross about Rs 12.06 crore by Monday, and well have to some exceptional business to recover the costs. But with three releases this Friday – Sanjay Dutt’s much hyped comeback, Bhoomi, Shraddha Kapoor’s Haseena Parkar and Rajkummar Rao’s Newton – it looks like quite an uphill task.
