Sushant Singh Rajput’s fight with a journalist at the trailer launch of Raabta has become a talking point. It all started after a reporter forced him to comment on Kulbhushan Yadav, the ex Indian Army officer who has been sentenced to death by the Pakistan army. Although initially, Sushant politely turned down the question but this certain reporter wasn’t happy with a no for an answer. Walking up to the stage, she blasted Sushant for not having an opinion about a national issue, despite being a “public figure” . That’s when Sushant lost his cool and hit back at the reporter saying, “Where is it written that public figure has to comment on everything?” 
We personally feel Sushant wasn’t wrong when he said he doesn’t want to comment on an issue. I mean, not everyone needs to have an opinion about everything. There are times when enough has been already said about something that you don’t want to add on to it or you are just not well informed to have an opinion about it.

However, this isn’t the first time. Bollywood celebs have always come under the scanner for being factually incorrect or not having an opinion at all. Here, we rewind back to the times when celebs refused to answer a question and shut the reporters with a strict NO!
Salman Khan
Salman’s history with the media is known to all. He’s always been made to say something which eventually either leads to being called ‘insensitive’ or “offensive”. However, there have also been times when Salman has played his smart card by maintaining that he will NOT give out an answer. Take for instance this one during the MAMI Festival which was held last year. Salman along with Jackie Shroff were asked to comment on the heated “intolerance” debate, citing Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan’s opinions. However, Salman bluntly refused to add onto it saying, “I’ll say something, you’ll understand something else and write it in an all new different context. Why do you want to do all that stuff? Alia Bhatt
There’s so much to talk about Alia Bhatt. Her films, her unconventional performances, her success ratio despite being as young as 23 year old. But yet, who can stop the people who still don’t see Aliabeyond her GK level? Look how Alia dealt with one such situation at an awards show back in 2016. Alia was so irked when someone tried to mock her IQ that she retorted, “Do you know the president of South Africa? China? Don’t talk if you don’t know bro!”
Deepika Padukone
It’s very rare you will find Deepika losing her cool in public unless someone crosses their limits. We are talking about her brawl with a journalist right after the ‘cleavage’ controversy. Although DP had slammed the publication for advertising her cleavage by taking up to Twitter saying, “YES!I am a Woman.I have breasts AND a cleavage! You got a problem!!??” But this certain reporter wasn’t convinced with her tweet and instead decided to further question her for reacting on a ‘petty’ issue like this. That’s when Deepika couldn’t contain her anger. She lashed out at the reporter for being so nonsensical and even asked the photographers to pan the camera on her. Here, watch the full video below:
Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka is again someone who is very cautious while making statements in public. Precisely, also the reason why this certain reporter had a tough time making her say what he wanted to hear. During Filmfare 2014, this journalist repeatedly went on linking Priyanka with Shah Rukh where at one point in time, it actually made no sense at all. But you need to watch how PC gauged the situation without even losing her temper. She said, “You want me to take his name right? You want me to answer and create a scene? But I won’t let that happen. You keep questioning, I’ll keep smiling.”
Sonam Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor has been vocal about everything under the sun except for her personal life. She doesn’t believe in announcing what’s happening in her personal space. So when a reporter quizzed her about being engaged to boyfriend Anand Ahuja, she got furious. She instantly retorted, “Pagal ho gaye ho kya aap? It’s rubbish. I am not going to dignify that with an answer. I am going to go if you ask me that.”
While there are many celebs who have had ugly fights with the media for whatsoever reasons. There are only a few who are not apologetic about turning down a question.
