Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor had a master plan to AVOID each other on the sets of Nach Baliye 8 but did it work?
This is how Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor planned on ignoring each other on Nach Baliye 9's sets.
There has been quite a lot of buzz about Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s closeness
in B-town. While the duo have claimed on several instances that there’s
no romantic inclination between them, the rumours don’t seem to die
down. But, fate brought them together in one frame, to everyone’s
surprise. Despite having a full proof plan, Malaika and Arjun ended up
being clicked together on the sets of Nach Baliye 9. You heard that
right. So Arjun along with his Half Girlfriend co-star Shraddha Kapoor
and director Mohit Suri (who is also a judge in the show) visited the
show to promote their film. At the same time, Malaika too entered the
show since Sonakshi couldn’t make it due to prior commitments. So to
keep Arjun and Malaika at bay, the celebrity managers of these two had
actually formulated a very good plan in order to avoid their paths to
cross during the shoot.
A report on DNA stated that both, Arjun and Malaika’s vanity vans were parked side by side, but thanks to the wonderful job of their managers, they both never met up. A source told them, “It was so well-coordinated by their managers.” It didn’t stop there as they made sure that they avoided each other till the end of the show. Hence, they weren’t seated together. The source told the leading daily, “They did not interact much on the sets except for exchanging pleasantries.” Well, so far so good.
However, it was during the photo-ops when there wasn’t much they could do. “They asked Arjun to take centrestage for a picture, but he asked them to hold on till his film team came. They wanted his solo picture, but he kept himself busy and when Malaika moved from the stage for a phone call, he went and posed for solo pictures. For the group picture Terrence Lewis and Malaika were already on the stage when Arjun, Shraddha and Mohit joined them. It so happened that Malaika and Arjun stood next to each other. The place was too small and they did not want to draw attention by changing places,” said the source.
The show, which originally has Sonakshi Sinha as the celebrity judge decided to opt out of it for a few episodes due to her next musical tour, Night Loaded With Stars with Hrithik Roshan and Madhuri Dixit Nene. Right after the Da Bangg tour ended, everybody returned back to the city. However, Sona decided to vacay a little before she jetted off for another tour. Quite a timing, don’t you think?
