Prabhas and Rana Daggubati‘s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has set the box office on fire since it released on April 28. Thousands of people flocked to the theatres to find out why exactly Kattapa killed Baahubali, giving the film an insane occupany of 95 per cent on day one. And while the audience finally found out the answer to the question of the decade, they were even left mesmerised by the fantastic performances by the actors and the stunning visuals presented by SS Rajamouli. 
With 8000 screens at its disposal and such a staggering occupancy on day one, the movie was able to rake in a staggering Rs 121 crore at the box office in just one day. Since the beginning, we had been telling you time and again that Baahubali 2 will create and break several records at the box office. You all must be wondering by now which records were we talking about? Well, here are 11 records that Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has created in just one day at the box office:
# Highest advance booking ever
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion raked in nearly Rs 36 crore through advance bookings alone. It clearly beat Aamir Khan’s Dangal (Rs 18 crore), which held this record before April 28.
# Largest screen space
The second part of Baahubali got the largest screen space in India as it released in 8000 screens. Earlier this record was held by Salman Khan‘s Sultan (4350 screens).
# Highest opening day occupancy of 2017
Baahubali 2 opened to an insane occupancy of 95 per cent across 8000 screens in India. This is clearly more than Raees‘ opening occupancy of 70 per cent, which was the highest occupancy of 2017 till then.

As we told you earlier itself, the movie has raked in Rs 121 crore on day one. This is now the highest opening day grosser ever after it beat the likes of Baahubali: The Beginning (Rs 50 crore), Rajinikanth’s Kabali (Rs 47.20 crore) and Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year (Rs 44.97 crore) on day one.
# Fastest to cross the Rs 100 crore mark
Baahubali 2 became the first film to cross the hundred crore mark in one day, thereby becoming the fastest to cross Rs 100 crore ever. Earlier, Baahubali: The Beginning (2 days) held this record.
# Highest opening day collection by a Hindi dubbed film
With a collection of Rs 41 crore on day one through the Hindi version, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion became the highest opening day grosser by a Hindi dubbed film. For those of you who don’t know, the film was originally made in Telugu and dubbed in Hindi for release. Earlier this record was held by Baahubali: The Beginning, but looks like the sequel has out clearly performed the prequel.
# Highest opener in Telugu Cinema
With a staggering collection of Rs 53 crore from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has given Telugu cinema its biggest opening ever!
# Highest collections through Tamil, Telugu and Malyalam version on day one
Prabhas and Rana Daggubati’s film raked in Rs 80 crore through the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions on day one, which is the highest ever through these three languages for a film.  
# First Indian film to top Thursday night preview charts in America
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion ($2.5 million) rocked the overseas market when it became the first Indian film ever to top the Thursday night preview charts in America. It beat the likes of Fast & Furious 8 ($1.9 million), Beauty & the Beast ($661K) and Boss Baby ($562K) in the process.
