Pooja Bhatt slams Sonu Nigam’s azaan rant so perfectly that you would want to appalud her
Pooja Bhatt replies to Sonu's tweet and it could just be your favourite.
Sonu Nigam kicked a hornet’s nest yesterday when he ranted on Twitter
about waking up azaan every morning. He even went on to call it ‘forced
religiousness’ and ‘gundagardi’. Many trolled him on Twitter for these
sudden tweets. But then there were some who took the opportunity to
cracked jokes on Sonu Sood instead. Pooja Bhatt too decided to comment
on it and what she said will make a lot of people side with her.
Pooja writes, “I wake each morning to the sound of church bells & the Azaan in a quiet by-lane of Bandra.I light an aggarbatti & salute the spirit of India.” She obviously is hinting at the many religions that are followed in the country and has been co-existing since forever now. The problem with Sonu’s tweets is he decided to rant on Azaan instead of the loudspeaker that blares it. His point basically was it creates discomfort for many like how noisy processions during Ganpati festival makes people suffer. But given the way he said things went out of control. He had said,
Today, he defended his claims by making another statement on Twitter saying,
Sonu, you may not be wrong but the way you said it means something else which only aggravated the whole chaos. If azaan wakes you up irritated, loudspeakers blaring Bollywood songs during Ganpati visarjan don’t make anyone feel at ease either. Just saying!

Dear everyone. Your stand exposes your own IQ. I stand by my statement that loudspeakers should not be allowed in Mosques & Temples. Period

God bless everyone. I'm not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India

And by the way Mohammed did not have electricity when he made Islam.. Why do I have to have this cacophony after Edison?
— Sonu Nigam (@sonunigam) April 17, 2017
I don't believe in any temple or gurudwara using electricity To wake up people who don't follow the religion . Why then..? Honest? True?
