Zee Cine Awards 2017 are just around the corner and we are super excited. A
night dedicated to honouring the best of Bollywood, and celebrating the
best of performances. We know Sunny Leone, Govinda, Katrina Kaif,
Raveena Tandon, Varun Dhawan
and Alia Bhatt are going to dance their heart out on stage for our
entertainment. We learn that their acts are being styled by ace
choreographer Shiamak Davar. The man of the hour is very excited to
share his work through these stars. Shiamak has talked about how it was
working with these celebs for Zee Cine Awards 2017 – some of him has
been his students, and some he choreographed for the first time.
Varun Dhawan will be seen shaking a leg to songs of Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Talking about the actor, Shiamak said,”I am just so impressed by Varun! He came to me as a teenager to learn dance and was also a part of my Special Potential Batch. In these few years he has worked tremendously hard and has become one of the finest actors in Bollywood. As his teacher, my blessings are always with him because I know he always uses his talent positively and has the utmost respect for my Dance Company and me!”

Varun’s Badrinath co-star Alia Bhatt will also be seen swaying on the stage. “My God, what a powerhouse of talent! From being a student at my classes as a little girl to now performing so well in such diverse cinema, her graph has been upward and she’s constantly raising the benchmark. I always enjoy choreographing her!” Shiamak said about her.
If you are a true 90’s kid, you must be drying to see Govinda dancing again. Well, wait no more as he would be there dancing to beats as instructed by Shiamak and his squad. “Without a doubt Govinda is my favourite performer! Oh what expressions and with such subtlety he just wows everyone! He dances with his face which is just unbelievable! Honestly, my entire Dance Company and I were the most excited when we heard his name as one of the star performers!” Shiamak said.
While we are talking about Govinda, how can we not talk about Raveena Tandon. We can’t get enough of their Kisi Disco Mein Jayein. She too will be performing on stage, and Shiamak said “The general trend has been that I choreograph stars and then after a few years, their kids come to my dance classes. But with Raveena it’s been the other way round! Her daughter has been coming to my dance classes as part of my One Year Program for juniors and now after all these years i’m finally choreographing Raveena. She is just so stunning, such a treat to work with. The new generation must watch her act and learn that once you’re a star, you’re a star forever!”
Talking about Katrina’s performance, he said “I’ve known Katrina for years! She has the biggest hit songs this year so it’s been fun choreographing her act, but i’m doing it differently in my own way which she always loves!”
And, finally Sunny Leone – who is going to rock the night with her Laila Main Laila performance. Shiamak said, “This is the first time I’m choreographing sunny. She looked stunning in laila. The stage is a new format where we’re working together and I’m sure we’ll have a great time working together on this show!”
We are looking forward to Zee Cine Awards, and Shiamak’s magic.
