Shah Rukh Khan and Salman go next level with their bromance, will host Screen Awards
Salman and Shah Rukh Khan will appear together in this project and it is not a film.
Salman Khan did the unthinkable yesterday. He revealed the first look of Shah Rukh Khan‘s
next with Anushka Sharma directed by Imtiaz Ali. And now we hear the
two Khans are coming together for something. Yes, the they will host the
Screen Awards on December 4.
An entertainment portal revealed the news quoting a source, “A lot of fun segments are lined up for the blockbuster Khan duo. Shah Rukh Khan’s wit and charm coupled with Salman’s impeccable comic timing will surely leave the audience asking for more.” And that has made us extremely interested in this awards show. Right now we don’t even care who will win what as long as we get to see the Khans crack us up. Salman and Shah Rukh have been meeting quite often these days over biryanis, cycling and birthdays. But the only time we got to see their bonding on screen was Bigg Boss 9. They came and conquered without even trying. Those were the best episodes of the show. Since then we wondered when we will watch them together again. Hence, the news of them hosting an award show left us squealing with joy.
Now Shah Rukh is an awesome host. He alone is enough to add wit and humour to a proceedings. Yet he had earlier teamed up with Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and others at different awards events. As for Salman, he alone left audience in splits during the Renault Star Guild Awards. He was the best thing about that event. Now imagine the two together! A blockbuster is ready to unfold and we can’t contain our excitement for it.
Salman and Shah Rukh’s friendship has become stuff that films are made of. They have redefined friendships in the industry. They have become very thick after they buried the hatchet and came together during Arpita’s wedding. We definitely want to watch him in a film but guess till that happens, we will make do with wherever they come together, be it Bigg Boss or an awards show.
