We asked you guys a few weeks ago that which TV actress’s performance
did you like the best in the first quarter of 2017 and we are happy to
inform you that Jennifer Winget
has won the poll with a huge margin. With a whopping 9,113 votes, the
‘Beyhadh’ actress has defeated all the television actresses. Surbhi
Jyoti, who is currently seen in the lead role of Geetanjali on Star
Plus’s show Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, stood close on second position with
7,368 votes. Divyanka Tripathi, Surbhi Chandna, Erica Fernandes, Kritika Kamra, Mouni Roy,
Shweta Basu Prasad, Sriti Jha, Shivangi Joshi, Rashami Desai and Rubina
Dilaik took the subsequent spots in order. Here’s the entire low down –
Jennifer, who made her television comeback with Beyhadh last year, has been garnering huge accolades for the portrayal of Maya Mehrotra and our latest poll results have reasserted the fact that she is the best ‘actor’ on television today. This is perhaps the first time on Indian television when a female actor has played a grey character on-screen and Jennifer has done it so well that she has managed to make people empathetic towards Maya, who is an obsessive psycho lover.

Maya is the most detailed yet mysterious character that we have ever seen on Indian TV. She is a no-nonsense woman who dares to take on the world and a vulnerable human being both at the same time.
Though Jennifer wasn’t conferred with any awards in the recently-concluded award season, we are sure she will walk away with lots this year. The show has become a rage among TV viewers and we won’t be surprised if she goes on to win the Best Actress award in the people’s choice category.
