‘Baahubali 2’ to release in April 2017

  Jamshedpur: Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus “Baahubali: The Conclusion” is slated to hit the screens on April 14, next year.

According to industry sources, the film’s release date has been locked already.
“The principal shooting will be wrapped up by this year-end. The remaining months before the release will be used extensively for post-production and computer graphics work,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.
“Baahubali: The Conclusion” is the second part in the franchise and it is tipped to be made on a higher budget than its predecessor.
The film stars Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Tamannah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty, besides a few new additions to the second part.

Jamshedpur : Comedian-actor Sunil Grover, who won hearts by playing Gutthi in a comedy show on TV, is excited about his first Punjabi film “Vaisakhi List”.
Sharing the first poster of the film, which also stars Jimmy Sheirgill and Shruti Sodhi, on Twitter, Sunil said he is looking forward to the film’s release on April 22.

“1st March! New beginnings. Poster release of my first Punjabi Film #vaisakhilist. Here it is,” he tweeted on Tuesday.
In the poster, Sunil, who has acted in Bollywood films like “Ghajini” and “Gabbar is Back”, can be seen on a bike with Jimmy and Shruti Sodhi.
The two actors look like prisoners on the run as they are dressed in jail outfits. Shruti, on the other hand, is all decked up in bridal wear. They are being chased by men with sticks in their hands.
He might have ventured into Punjabi films, but he hasn’t left the small screen. Come April, he will be seen with comedian-actor Kapil Sharma on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.

It was reported by dna earlier that Varun Tej had signed a Srinu Vaitla film. Now the latest news is that Rakul Preet Singh has been signed on for the film as the lead actress.
Sizzling actress Rakul Preet Singh is turning out to be the hot favourite for everyone. According to sources, Rakul has been roped to star opposite Mega Prince Varun Tej in his upcoming project under the direction of Srinu Vaitla. Srinu Vaitla was keen on roping in Rakul as she worked with him in Ram Charan's Bruce Lee. This would be out -and-out fun entertainer with Srinu Vaitla’s trademark comedy. Producer Nallamalupu Bujji is funding this project which may hit floors soon.  
Meanwhile, Rakul also has a film with Sai Dharam Tej. This will be a mass entertainer under the direction of Gopichand Malineni of Balupu fame. It is jointly produced by Nallamalupu Bujji and Tagore Madhu.
At present, Rakul is busy completing Boyapati Srinu’s Sarrainodu starring Allu Arjun which may hit screens on April 8th. She has also signed Boyapati Srinu’s next project with Bellamkonda Srinivas. The actress also has Ram Charan's remake of the Tamil hit Thani Oruvan. Recently, she started a new fitness training centre F45 in Hyderabad which was inaugurated by Tollywood stars.

Sonakshi Sinha to participate in Guinness World Records attempt

Jamshedpur: This Women’s Day, Sonakshi Sinha will be joining the women brigade here in their attempt to achieve a Guinness World Record title of “Most people painting their fingernails simultaneously”. And the Bollywood actress is more than excited over the thought of being a part of creating history.
By inviting thousands of women on the day, which falls on March 8, Poland-based cosmetic brand Inglot, after partnering with its Indian franchise partner Major Brands India Pvt Ltd, has planned to present a grand platform to create the record, where they will highlight their range of O2M breathable nail enamels.
The event will be held at the Palladium here, read a statement.
“As kids we had always heard that so and so has set a record or broken a record and has made a mark for themselves in the Guinness Book of World Records, it was always considered to be prestigious to have a record against your name in the Guinness Book. Back then I never imagined I would get to be a part of one such attempt.
“I’m really excited. I wish Team Inglot good luck for the same and I’m looking forward to the activity,” Sonakshi said.
Zbigniew Inglot, the chairman of the supervisory board of Inglot and Tushar Ved, president of Major Brands India Pvt Ltd, will also be present.
Talking about the event, Zbigniew said: “It’s a great opportunity for the brand to attempt the Guinness World Record in India.”

ASIA CUP: श्रीलंका पर जीत के साथ टीम इंडिया फाइनल में

मीरपुर/ Jamshedpur: गेंदबाजों के कमाल के बाद विराट कोहली और युवराज सिंह की खूबसूरत पारियां के दम पर भारत ने श्रीलंका को पांच विकेट से हराकर लगातार तीसरी जीत दर्ज करके एशिया कप ट्वेंटी20 क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट के फाइनल में अपनी जगह पक्की कर ली.

श्रीलंका टॉस गंवाने के बाद पहले बल्लेबाजी के लिये उतरा लेकिन भारतीय गेंदबाजों ने फिर से अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया. युवा हार्दिक पांड्या (26 रन देकर दो विकेट) और जसप्रीत बुमराह (27 रन देकर दो विकेट) ने उसका शीर्ष क्रम झकझोर दिया.

चमारा कापुगेदारा ने सर्वाधिक 30 रन बनाये लेकिन यदि श्रीलंका नौ विकेट पर 138 रन तक पहुंच पाया तो उसका श्रेय निचले क्रम के बल्लेबाजों मिलिंदा श्रीवर्धना (17 गेंद पर 22 रन) तिसारा परेरा (छह गेंद पर 17 रन) और नुवान कुलशेखरा (नौ गेंद पर 13 रन) को जाता है.

भारत का स्कोर भी एक समय दो विकेट पर 16 रन था लेकिन पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ भारत की जीत के नायक कोहली (47 गेंद पर नाबाद 56 रन) ने अपनी समझबूझ भरी बल्लेबाजी का फिर से अच्छा नजारा पेश किया जबकि युवराज (18 गेंदों पर 35 रन) ने सिक्सर किंग की अपनी पुरानी छवि की जीवंत झलक दिखायी. भारत ने आखिर में 19.2 ओवर में पांच विकेट पर 142 रन बनाकर शान से फाइनल में कदम रखा. भारत की यह इस साल नौ टी20 मैचों में आठवीं जीत है.

दूसरी तरफ श्रीलंका को तीन मैच में दूसरी हार का सामना करना पड़ा जिससे उसके फाइनल में पहुंचने की संभावना धूमिल पड़ गयी है.

कोहली और सुरेश रैना (25) ने हालांकि किसी तरह की जल्दबाजी नहीं दिखायी और सहजता से पारी आगे बढ़ायी. इन दोनों ने तीसरे विकेट के लिये 7.5 ओवर में 54 रन की साझेदारी की. रैना ने दासुन शनाका की गेंद हवा में लहराकर मिड ऑफ पर कैच थमाया जिससे यह साझेदारी टूटी. श्रीलंका को हालांकि इससे कोई राहत नहीं मिली क्योंकि युवराज ने आते ही गेंदबाजों को निशाना बनाया. उन्होंने शनाका पर चौका जड़कर खाता खोला और फिर रंगना हेराथ के अगले ओवर में लांग ऑन और मिडविकेट पर लगातार दो छक्के जमाये. उन्होंने परेरा की गेंद भी कवर प्वाइंट की उपर से छह रन के लिये भेजी. कोहली और युवराज ने भी अर्धशतकीय साझेदारी (51 रन) निभायी.

युवराज ने परेरा की गेंद पर हुक करके मिड ऑन पर कैच दिया. पांड्या (दो) को हेराथ ने बोल्ड किया लेकिन भारत लक्ष्य के करीब पहुंच गया था. युवराज ने अपनी पारी में तीन चौके और इतने ही छक्के लगाये. भारत को जब आखिरी दो ओवर में 14 रन चाहिए थे तब एंजेलो मैथ्यूज को श्रीवर्धना को गेंद थमाने का फैसला अजीबोगरीब रहा. धोनी ने उनकी गेंद पर छक्का जमाया जबकि कोहली ने अपनी पारी का छठा चौका लगाकर टी20 में अपना 13वां अर्धशतक पूरा किया. उन्होंने हेराथ के अगले ओवर में विजयी चौका भी जड़ा.

तिलकरत्ने दिलशान (18) पावरप्ले समाप्त होने के तुरंत बाद पहले बदलाव के रूप में आये पांड्या की पहली गेंद पर ही पवेलियन लौट गये. पांड्या ने बाउंसर किया जिसे दिलशान ने पुल कर दिया लेकिन वह सीधे फाइन लेग पर खड़े अश्विन के पास चला गया.

पांड्या ने पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ पिछले मैच की अपनी आखिर दो गेंदों पर विकेट लिये थे. इस तरह से वह तीन गेंदों पर तीन विकेट लेने में सफल रहे लेकिन इसे हैट्रिक नहीं माना जाएगा. पांड्या ने इसके बाद कप्तान एंजेलो मैथ्यूज (19 गेंद पर 18 रन) का कीमती विकेट हासिल किया जिन्होंने गेंद अपने ही विकेट पर खेल दी थी. जब भारतीय गेंदबाज पूरी तरह से हावी थे तब श्रीवर्धना ने रविंद्र जडेजा पर गेंदबाज के सिर के उपर से लंबा छक्का और फिर फाइन लेग पर चौका जड़कर दबाव कम करने की कोशिश की.

अश्विन ने श्रीवर्धना के तेवरों पर विराम लगाया और इस तरह से कापुगेदारा के साथ उनकी 43 रन की साझेदारी का अंत भी किया. बुमराह ने इसके तुरंत बाद कापुगेदारा को पवेलियन भेजा जिन्होंने 32 गेंद की अपनी पारी में तीन चौके लगाये. पांड्या ने कवर पर उनका खूबसूरत कैच लपका. तिसारा परेरा ने बुमराह पर दो चौके और अश्विन पर छक्का जड़ा लेकिन धोनी ने वाइड गेंद पर उन्हें स्टंप आउट कर दिया. नुवान कुलशेखरा ने नेहरा के आखिरी ओवर में दो चौके लगाये.
