Bigg Boss 11: Aamir Khan will NOT promote Secret Superstar on Salman Khan’s show – Here’s why

The 11th season of probably India’s biggest show Bigg Boss has started two days ago with much fanfare. Nowadays, all anyone is talking about, when it comes to TV is Bigg Boss 11. In the opening episode of the show itself we saw Varun Dhawan,
Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu promoting their film Judwaa 2
and many other stars be it Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi
for Golmaal Again etc are expected to promote their films on India’s
biggest reality show. But there is one superstar who is just not
interested in grabbing the eyeballs for his film via Salman Khan‘s show. And that is none other than Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood and Salman Khan’s good friend, Aamir Khan.
Talking to BollywoodLife Aamir Khan revealed that while he’s taken a break from the shooting of Thugs Of Hindostan to focus on the promotions of his home production Secret Superstar, he’s not keen on promoting the Diwali release on any reality show. Adding further he cleared that he won’t promote the film on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 11 as well. Interestingly, Aamir Khan is one of the only superstars who doesn’t go to reality or comedy shows to promote his films. In the past as well, he didn’t promote his films be it Dangal, PK or Dhoom 3 on any reality show.
In fact, during Dhoom 3 as well Aamir Khan didn’t visit Bigg Boss house but that didn’t stop Salman Khan from not promoting his film. Talking about that gesture from Salman, Aamir revealed, “I remember Salman promoted Dhoom 3 on his show. Though we never spoke about it but Salman still promoted my film.” He recalled, “One day I got a call from Salman. He wanted my hat from the film. It was later I got to know that he asked for it to promote the film”.
