Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane: Ram Kapoor has a Deewar moment – watch video!

So for the umpteenth time, Ram Kapoor’s wife Anandita (Gurdip Kohli) is dying from cancer. While the portly man knows this, he is not ready to let her go just yet. He is holding on to her with everything he’s got. After fighting with the doctors, his wife and everyone who told him to let her go, he has finally come before god to strike a bargain.
The promo starts like a scene right out of Amitabh Bachchan’s Deewar where you see him say his popular ‘Aaj khush toh bahuth hoge tum…’ dialogue. Ram Kapoor’s monologue in front of the idol seems almost like a direct lift. However, it is heart wrenching to see the portly man break down and beg god to give back the life of his dear wife and make her healthy again.
