Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur have left us spellbound with their chemistry in OK Jaanu. Ever since the trailer of the film has released, the audience is waiting for the Aashiqui 2 pair to make a comeback on the celluloid soon. One of the songs Enna Sona from OK Jaanu sung by Arijit Singh has become a rage.. literally! The soulful, romantic number shows how the different phases that a couple goes through while they are dating. And with Aditya and Shraddha in it, the song is a visual treat. The making of Enna Sona from OK Jaanu is equally beautiful. There is absolutely no doubt about the fact that Adi and Shraddha are pretty comfortable onscreen and the ease that they share reflects in the chemistry they share in the song. After Tum Hi Ho, Enna Sona is our current fave as long as Adi and Shraddha are concerned.
“Enna Sona is a very, very, very beautiful song,” says Shraddha in the video. Aditya goes on to say, “It’s a soulful track and when I heard it for the first time, I was like, this is it!” Somehow it pretty cute to see Aditya and Shraddha get all comfy and cozy onscreen.. I mean, they make it look like they share this chemistry offscreen too. This doesn’t happen with a lot of onscreen couples. The camaraderie doesn’t look so real and raw at times but SK and AK are an exception to that. 
The film is an official remake of Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani which had Dulquer Salman and Nitya Menen in lead roles. Aditya and Shraddha play Adi and Tara in OK Jaanu. The film is slated to release on January 13, 2017 and we are hoping that it lives up to the hype.

2017 has begun and its gonna be special year for Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. Both the actresses who have been making waves in Bollywood are all set to make an impression in the West with their Hollywood debuts. Deepika’s XXx: The Return of Xander Cage will be releasing this month in January and Priyanka’s Baywatch is coming out in March. After having a kickass new year, DP is all set to go on a promotional spree for her upcoming Hollywood debut. The actress was spotted at Mumbai airport last night and interestingly, PeeCee was there too. Did they bump into each other? I don’t think so coz the shutterbugs wouldn’t have lost the opportunity to capture the moment had that been happened. Both Priyanka and Deepika can pull off anything and everything in style. Yes, they have disappointed the fashion police with some major blunders but that’s okay. I mean, even a diva like Sonam Kapoor has gone wrong with her style and that’s sometimes alright..
Coming back to PeeCee and Deepika, they were both sporting a pretty casual avatar at the airport. Deepika wore a casual pair of blue jeans, a white tunic and wore an oversized jacket over it. Seems like she has been taking some fashion inspiration from Kim Kardashian! She finished her look with brown shoes. Overall, we loved what she was wearing.



Priyanka too chose to step on in casuals at the airport. She wore a pair of ripped denims and a grey tee. Her black, blingy jacket stole the thunder from what could have looked a perfect airport outift. She was seen carrying one of Angela Carter’s book titled Wayward Girls & Wicked Women. Is she planning to do a film revolving around the same? Let’s see..

2.0 new poster: Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar’s sci-fi film promises the unexpected

2.0 brand new poster is here.

For all the Rajinikanth–Akshay Kumar fans, 2017 is a big year considering their first film together – 2.0 will finally hit theatres. A sci-fi theme project directed by Shankar has already created record for being one of the most expensive projects. It’s made on a budget of nearly Rs 400 crore. 2.0 is the spiritual successor to Enthiran the Robot, which means certain elements from the previous film might repeat itself but the plot is brand new. After the three first look posters, the makers have released another new poster of the film. It says – the world is not only for Human. Looks like the film promises to showcase the unexpected.  In this film, Rajinikanth will return as Chitti, Dr Vaseegaran and another undisclosed character, but it’s Akshay Kumar’s character that has intrigued everyone. He plays an Ornithologist, who turns into a crow as a result of a wrong experiment. His first look had absolutely terrified fans. It’s obnoxiously awesome. Also, did you know, this film will mark the Bollywood star’s Tamil debut? It can’t get better than this right, playing a villain opposite Rajinikanth. The film also stars Amy Jackson, the music has been composed by AR Rahman and the sound has been designed by Oscar award winning Resul Pookutty. The film will be edited by Anthony.
Everything about 2.0 has been grand, starting with its larger than life – first look launch. At the launch held in the Mumbai, the entire cast and crew was present. They spoke at length about their journey while shooting for 2.0. Akshay Kumar had revealed, how after working for 25 years, he had finally put on makeup for a role. Rajinikanth mentioned, the real hero of this film was Akshay Kumar. All those who attended the launch watched the motion poster of 2.0 in 3D. The event was impressive and grand.
So how did you like the new poster of 2.0? For us, it has doubled the excitement for this film! We can’t wait for more stills. Reportedly, they have wrapped up the shoot and are now dubbing for the film. It’s all set for a Diwali 2017 release.

Sonam Kapoor had been single since quite sometime. Her rumoured love affair with Ranbir Kapoor during Saawariya made it to the headlines but that was it. After that the actress never got linked to anybody until Anand Ahuja came into the picture. Be it for family get togethers or secret vacations; it has been a couple of months since Sonam has been spotted various times with Anand Ahuja, The actress has never shied away from getting clicked with Anand and from what it looks like they never had a problem going all public with their relationship.  Anand and Sonam seem to be pretty serious about each other. For all those who have been speculating about Anand and Sonam’s relationship, the actress has given a MAJOR hint about the same. 2017 is here and all B-townies have conveyed their wishes to fans through social media. Sonam, too, is one among them. However, she decided to post a picture with her beau this time. Now wishing fans on social media along with someone does mean something.. isn’t it?

Over the past few years, people have started to feel that January is very unlucky for Bollywood movies. With a few big films not doing well at the box office during this period, industry folks have started to believe that January is not a good time to release their films. So if you see the first two weeks of January not having any major release, then don’t worry coz it is a common practice now. In 2017, Shah Rukh Khan‘s Raees, Hrithik Roshan‘s Kaabil and Deepika Padukone’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage are releasing. And we are sure the makers might be fretting that the curse of January might haunt their movies. However, let me tell you that this perception is actually false. January was actually a good month for Bollywood in 2016. Even though Wazir, Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 and Saala Khadoos didn’t earn huge numbers, they did make money. And then we had Airlift, which was the highest grossing film of 2016 till Sultan released. In fact, Airlift still features in top 10 grossing films of 2016, which has earned a considerable profit too…
Apart from 2016, in the past few years too, films released in January have performed well. In 2015, Akshay Kumar‘s Baby performed very well and earned  profit. In 2014 Salman Khan‘s Jai Ho, which released in January, was one of the biggest hits of the year. Similarly, Saif Ali Khan’s Race 2 also performed well in January 2013. So the month is not the issue, it is the timing of the release and the content that matters. If your movie has flaws, obviously it will tank at the box office, right? However, if you have a good story line and the film is packaged well with great performances, then any film will earn big bucks during any month including January… 
Obviously, January is the first month and everyone is getting back to their day-to-day life after holidays. So while the first week might be dicey, from the second week any film can do well. And on top of that we have a big holiday like January 26 that is a part of the month. This day has the highest earning potential for any film. So, quite clearly January is NOT unlucky for Bollywood movies. It is in fact the content of the film that will decide if it will be a hit or a flop.
So Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan have nothing to worry in 2017 as their films will do well if they offer good content. With this let’s bid all the bad luck bye bye with 2016 and let’s say hello to 2017! Wishing you guys a very Happy New Year with lots of movies and gossip to look forward to only at BollywoodLife…

7 moments from Shahid and Mira’s KWK episode that prove they are HOPELESSLY in love

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput gave us the most romantic episode of Koffee With Karan 5. Here are a few highlights...

You know the first time when we were informed Shahid Kapoor is settling for an arranged marriage with someone from outside the industry, we were pretty shaken. I mean, who would have thought Shahid out of all will finally go for an arranged marriage? But it happened…it happened last year…with Mira Rajput walking into Shahid’s life and changing him into an all together different being. Not to mention, they also have a 5 months old baby Misha who further completes their little family. Sounds like a dreamy happily ever after, no? Well, that exactly explains why we were insanely excited to watch Mira’s FIRST EVER television debut on Koffee With Karan last night. Considering it’s her first appearance on a chat show..how is she as a person? Is she really suitable for Shahid? Is Shahid happy with Mira? Here, let me give you a quick lowdown of ‘ShaMir’s’ mushy’ moments on KWK…
#The ‘Ex’ factor
In the very beginning, Karan tried making things awkward by quizzing Shahid about his exes by even mentioning Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha. But Mira being a sweetheart remained so unfazed and chilled as she said, “We know everything about each other so it doesn’t matter.” In fact, Shahid later even joked about it saying, “I must say you’ve started the show on a lovely note. It’s going to be interesting post the show finishes when we go home.” Look at the comfort level they share!
#Jab They Met
Obviously with so much display of love in the very beginning, Karan like most of us, was curious to hear their love story. When was the first time Mira got to know about Shahid? How did they meet? What was their first conversation like? And Mira being her candid self went on to narrate the love story, “Vivah’ style. So Mira wasn’t told about Shahid at first and was casually called for a family dinner with Shahid’s parents in company as she recalls, “The first time I met his parents was at a lunch. As I sat down to have lunch with them, I started bashing Bollywood. Like item songs and what lyrics they have and all. I didn’t know back then that they had come to see me for Shahid.” Haha, imagine the scene! But eventually Shahid and Mira were introduced to each other and they instantly connected by speaking to each other for about 7 hours…that day began a love story and they’re longing for more, even today…
#The never ending PDA
Mira and Shahid were inseparable on the Koffee couch, like way too literally. They couldn’t keep their hands, eyes off each other. In fact, at one point in time, Karan was so affected by their PDA that he said, do you’ll do this even when your relatives are around? And both of them were like, “ya” with Mira further confessing, “I am head over heels in love with Shahid.” To which, Karan had nothing else to say but cry over his loneliness saying, “The single most annoying thing for a single person to watch other person’s PDA. Please don’t be that couple, I beg of you.”
#Discussing ‘Burps’ and ‘Farts’
Oh! This was the funniest one. Mira was asked to name one bad habit about Shahid but he was like, “Don’t say that, please no.” And Mira was quick enough to prompt, “He burps alot”. Shahid was obviously a little embarrassed but he then said, even I will say now and made a disgusting face saying, “She farts.” To which Mira laughed about and said, “Shut up, I was pregnant. It’s allowed. What do you have? ” Look at their discovery about each other…
#Mira and Shahid’s late night tales
While Shahid revealed how Mira sleeps with three blankets and doesn’t even spare his blanket. He even went onto mention how she lectures him in the night as he said, “I am constantly petrified of my wife. If I take a piss and forget to put the seat up and then back down, she’ll come and lecture me. She goes, “What kind of a man are you? Haven’t people taught you any manners?”
#And finally they admitted how ‘present and future is the best place to be in’
Although Mira and Shahid’s marriage began on a ‘stranger’s’ note but the couple is certainly loving every bit of their married life. Despite Karan’s repeated attempts to trick the two about their past affairs and the oldschool concept of arranged marriages, Shahid and Mira didn’t give up on their belief. Even when Karan quizzed Shahid as to what would he do if was stuck in an elevator with Kareena, Priyanka and Mira, he instantly said, “Back to the future”. Not to mention, Mira too admitted the time when she actually realised Shahid’s importance in her life…when he was away for IIFA awards for 3 days she recalls, “I felt lost…I was like what to do..where are you? Come back home.”
