Salman Khan puts down three MAJOR restrictions on Race 3 and it involves love making scenes and drugs
Salman Khan has put some conditions in front of the makers of Race 3...
Salman Khan is known to have his own rules when it comes to his films. There
are some dos and don’ts that he follows. The actor will never play a
baddie, he won’t do a liplock and he won’t have skimpily-dressed leading
ladies. He knows what his fans want and he won’t disappoint them. For Race 3
too, he has given a clear mandate and looks like the team has agreed to
his three major conditions. According to an insider, “Salman has
already discussed his ideas with the team and given them his mandates.”
# Make it funny
Race and Race 2 had the humour element in correct proportion, thanks to Anil Kapoor’s character, but this time, Anil is not part of the franchise, so the star has asked them to find another way to bring that in. A source reveals, “Salman has already asked the writers, director Remo D’Souza and producer Ramesh Taurani to make the film funnier. He wants more humour in the script.”
# No steamy scenes
The previous Race films had their fair share of raunchy, steamy scenes between the lead pair. But that won’t be the case with Salman. “He wants the film to cater to family audiences. He doesn’t want them squirming in their seats. He doesn’t want even one steamy scene or something that people in the family cannot watch together,” the source adds. But the masala and thrills and action scenes will more than make up for the lack of sizzling scenes.
# Drugs? Never
Another change that Salman wanted in the script was regarding a scene. Our source reveals, “There was a scene, which involved Salman’s character dealing in drugs. That has been chopped off now because Salman does not want to set a bad example for his fans, especially kids and youngsters who follow him. Therefore, the drug-peddling angle in the story too has been nixed.”
