This is what Kabir Khan feels about Salman Khan’s performance in Tubelight

Kabir Khan feels Salman Khan's performance in Tubelight is five times better than Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Filmmaker Kabir Khan says superstar Salman Khan‘s performance in their upcoming film “Tubelight” is five times better than the one in their 2015 blockbuster “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”. Speaking to media at the screening of the Oscar-nominated film “Lion” on Wednesday here, Kabir said: “Salman will be seen in a completely different way in the film (‘Tubelight’). If people have thought that Salman’s performance is special in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, then his performance in ‘Tubelight’ is five times better than it. The audience will see Salman’s better performance in ‘Tubelight’.”

Asked about the status of the shooting of the film, the “Ek Tha Tiger” director said that only “a day’s shoot is left”. After delivering hit films like “Ek Tha Tiger” and “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, is there any pressure? “I made a film and now it’s up to the audience to decide whether the film is good or bad. However, I don’t carry forward the pressure of the past film. Otherwise, I would have made another movie like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. “We have made ‘Tubelight’ and if people like the film, the business will be similar or more than ‘Bajrangi…’ and if they don’t, then it would be a bit low.” Tubelight is slated for an Eid release.
Talking about the challenges he faced during the shooting, he said: “I shot this film in Ladakh. That was the most challenging… to shoot the film in that location.” Kabir also strongly condemned the recent attack on ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Jaipur. He found it “shocking and horrific”. “I can’t believe that it happened in my country. Everybody has the right to express things but in a democratic way and not in a hooliganism way. It’s disgusting.”

Badrinath Ki Dulhania trailer launch: 5 pictures of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt you can’t afford to miss

Badrinath Ki Dulhania trailer: Varun Dhawan-Alia Bhatt’s chemistry and Tamma Tamma Loge remake stands out

The film releases on March 10, 2017.

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are back once again to mesmerize fans with their hot chemistry and perfect comic timing. A sequel of sorts to their previous hit together, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath is an extension of the Varun-Alia love story that fans embraced the first time around. That film surprised viewers with its unique take on Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. And the songs also played important role in making it a runaway success. Karan Johar decided to revisit the similar world albeit with a twist, India’s first love franchise film, as makers like to call it. Three years later they are returning with another Dulhania, this time Badrinath’s. Badrinath Ki Dulhania, again is directed by Shashank Khaitan. What I liked in the trailer is the innocence with which Varun Dhawan delivers his lines and the easiness with which Alia Bhatt delivers hers. Once again their chemistry is what make the trailer great and makes us all excited for the film.
The trailer is more earthy in feel than Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. I specifically loved the dialect they have used in the film. Also the running joke in the trailer about ‘simple interest’ and ‘compund interest’ will surely chuckle you up. Having said that the highlight of the trailer is Varun Dhawan’s Badri act. He fits Badrinath’s character to the T and it’s commendable that the makers gave Badrinath its own arc, which can be witnessed in the trailer itself.
Watch the trailer below:

As mentioned above, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan share a crackling chemistry in the trailer and we can’t wait to watch more of them in the upcoming songs and the movie itself. Special mention to the music of the film, revisited version of Tamma Tamma Loge from Sanjay Dutt-Madhuri Dixit’s Thanedaar adds weightage to the trailer. Same goes for the title track.
Going solely by the trailer, looks like, after the underperformance of  OK Jaanu, Karan Johar has a winner in his hand. This holi is gonna be all the way more colourful with ‘Badrinath’ and his ‘Dulhania’.
The film releases on March 10, 2017.

If Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra were the Finance Minister, these things would get tax exemptions

The new finance budget is about to dawn upon us, and you can bet all your stakes on the fact that demonetisation will definitely be a huge decisive factor in Arun Jaitley’s plans for the next fiscal year. Many will be hoping that the budget plan will also consider the crush crunch that followed Prime Minister’s decision to ban Rs 500 and 1000 notes and replacing them with new Rs 500 notes as well as the newly inducted Rs 2000 notes. There is also the factor of how the other major financial decision of Goods and Services Tax will play into next year’s budget.
Okay, fine. We won’t be discussing budget here much. While budget will definitely affect Bollywood in some way or the other, just like demonetisation has affected the fates of a few movies, it’s better that we let the real experts in say, Financial Express or Financial Times, talk about this. But we can let you have this one fun scenario – imagine what would happen if some of our beloved Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Aamir Khan are made Finance Minister for a day. Done imagining that? Now imagine if they are given power to give tax exemptions to certain sectors, so what will be their choice favourites then. Well, we do have some insights there…
