We should infact take cues from Sara Ali Khan
There are still a few days left for India’s biggest
festival Diwali to arrive but Bollywood is already reveling in the
festive spirit. Diwali parties have begun in full swing. It started with
Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan and then the rest followed. Recently celebs gathered at designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s
Diwali bash in Mumbai. While Abhishek Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda,
her daughter Navya Naveli Nanda, filmmaker Karan Johar and Twinkle
Khanna’s presence obviously made headlines, it was Sara Ali Khan who caught my attention.
After having a first glance at the picture shared on Sandeep Khosla’s official account, I instantly realized that I had seen her wearing a similar outfit at an earlier event. On Googling, I found out that she had indeed wore the same green Anarkali at a function, few years back. She was a little plump then, equally beautiful though.
But the purpose of this article is not to make a huge fuss about it. Let’s admit it, we have all done this at some point or the other. Haven’t we repeated the same lehenga or dress at our friend’s wedding after having worn it at our relative’s marriage function? It’s absolutely normal and logistical. We don’t get to wear these heavy dresses on a daily basis and it completely makes sense to repeat them. Infact I would suggest you guys to take cues from Sara. She got the anarkali altered so well that no one, except a Bollywood buff like me (wink), could make out that she had actually worn it earlier. Kudos to you, Sara.
On the work front, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter is on the verge of making her debut in Bollywood. She has already started shooting for her first film, Kedarnath, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. And if the leaked images are of any indication, then Sara is going to nail it with her first film.
