B-town is loaded with fashion stunners and their
style offerings are astounding at times. Yes, we agree they make us
cringe many times too but why are we ignoring positives and highlighting
everything negative? And if we take special efforts to criticize them,
we are pretty capable of pulling them up and appreciate all their
efforts. If B-towners like Huma Qureshi, Kalki Koechlin and Nargis
Fakhri made us shut our eyes this week, there are celebs like Parineeti Chopra,
Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif who made us shout out a loud, ‘wow!’
Stepping out in gorgeous-yet-chic outfits, Bollywood celebs literally
set the ball rolling. It’s not surprising that they set things alight
with their mood, attitude, and spunk. Without reading any other chapter
from our fashion thesis, let’s go ahead and elaborate on who made it to
our best-dressed list this week and why!
Katrina Kaif
Katrina Kaif is a diva who needs no real reason to look sassy and sexy. Ignoring all the fuss surrounding airport fashion and preferring comfort over style, Katrina Kaif was successful in turning the runway into a ramp walk. Opting for a floral print pantsuit from the house of Zara, Kat proved economical fashion can look alluring too.
Alia Bhatt
Of all the millennials in tinsel town, we are besotted with the one who has been carving a glorious niche with a slew of unconventional roles. Yes, that’s how we define Alia Bhatt – the new fashionista on the block. Recently, the Highway actress attended a movie discussion with her Brahmastra co-star, Ranbir Kapoor, and Karan Johar, opting for separates by Self Portrait. Though her look was nothing great, we liked the way she carried it off. In love with her combination and swag, Alia definitely deserves a place on our best-dressed list this week.
Kunal Kemmu
Ok, so we really envy Soha Ali Khan for having someone as charming as Kunal Kemmu in her life. His next movie, Golmaal Again’s promotions are going on in full swing and the star is rather busy making some dapper appearances one after the other. Especially his look from the Diwali special episode of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, where Kunal opted for traditional white kurta with pants and blue Nehru jacket, was an absolute delight. Though his look reminded us of Saif Ali Khan partially, the star carried it off equally well.
Parineeti Chopra
Parineeti Chopra’s fashion styling for Golmaal promotions has received a mix feedback so far but there were times when she was a total stunner. Like, for example, this instance. The actress had opted for blue and gold separates designed by Anoli Shah and we were totally digging her look. More than the actress, we loved the outfit and hope that the designer starts designing for more Bollywood celebs.
Lara Dutta
Former Miss Universe, Lara Dutta’s fashion game has been full of hits and misses. Sometimes the Partner actress makes us smile and other times, it’s just too blah. But fortunately, her recent one comes under the former category. Opting for Eshaa Amiin beige colour jumpsuit, Lara looked ravishing like never before. Again the colour of the attire here did all the wonders as we are totally smitten by it. Thanks to this tone, it’s successful in lending it a very classy touch.
