Aamir Khan and Virat Kohli shoot for a chat show to promote Secret Superstar

Aamir Khan is known for his unique marketing strategies. While each and every actor from a newbie to a superstar make sure to visit a reality or comedy show to promote their films, Aamir Khan tends to go the path less travelled. He has delivered few of the biggest blockbusters in the last few years be it Dangal, PK or Dhoom 3 but not once has he promoted his films on TV. He maintained the same stance for his upcoming film, Secret Superstar.
Talking to BollywoodLife he revealed that while he’s taken a break from the shooting of Thugs Of Hindostan to focus on the promotions of his home production Secret Superstar, he’s not keen on promoting the Diwali release on any reality show. Adding further he cleared that he won’t promote the film on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 11 as well. Interestingly, Aamir Khan is one of the only superstars who doesn’t go to reality or comedy shows to promote his films. In the past as well, he didn’t promote his films be it Dangal, PK or Dhoom 3 on any reality show. 
But looks like he had something else in mind. He surely will be promoting his film on TV but on a special chat show designed especially for the film. The said chat show will see him in conversation with the young Cricket star and Indian Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli.
According to reports, the Diwali edition show will see Virat Kohli and Aamir Khan spilling out their lesser known facts and secrets.
Well let’s just wait and watch how this union of two stalwarts of their field turns out.
Secret Superstar is slated for an October 19, 2017 release and stars Zaira Wasim in the lead role. The film is directed by Advait Chandan and see Aamir Khan as a producer and in a special appearance.
