Udta Punjab is an upcoming thriller film, which will be directed by Abhishek Chaubey. Previously there were rumours that the ex-lovers Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan will be featuring as main leads in the film. But now the gossips are broken out and the lead actress has been decided. The cute little stunning lady Alia Bhatt is once again casted opposite Shahid in Udta Punjab.
Story/Plot
The movie will revolve at the increasing problem of drug abuse in Punjab. The thriller film will also have a drug mafia and these four characters are probably related to the same in one way or another. Udta Punjab will address the issue of drug trafficking in the state and the four actors play pivotal roles in the story. It will be India's first stoner film to deal with the subject of substance abuse.Actors/Actress
Actors Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be seen together once again after Shandaar movie. Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen romancing Punjabi heart-throb Diljit Dosanj in the film.
