   Udta Punjab is an upcoming Indian thriller film directed by Abhishek Chaubey and produced by Phantom Films and Balaji Motion Pictures.^[1] It tells the story of substance abuse in the Indian state of Punjab and stars Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles.^[2] Principal photography on the film began in March 2015.^[3][4]
