Karanvir Bohra, Karan Grover and Karan Tacker have been approached for playing lead role of Karn.Avinesh Rekhi has also been signed for the series.[3] Mouli Ganguly is playing the role of Radha, Karna's foster mother.[4]
The channel aired the series first on Multi Screen Media's app Sony LIV, before airing on its main channel.[5]
In August 2015, Vasant Bhatt was announced as taking the role previously held by Vishesh Bansal because the show is taking a leap forward in time.[6]
